Introduction

In 2010, ​researchers from the University of California in Irvine begin development of MusicGlove. In the next year, these researchers form a company to advance the neurorehabilitation field. The four founders are: Nizan Friedman, Ph.d (CEO), Dan Zondervan, Ph.d (Vice President), David Reinkensmeyer, Ph.d (Clinical Advisor), and Mark Bachman (Technical Advisor).

FlintRehab receives a Phase I grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to commercialize MusicGlove and perform a usability study to test safety of the device.
